ABOUT US
Community Development Fund (CDF) is the succession of US-based NGO named Global Community Service Foundation (GCSF) which operated in Vietnam from 2004 to 2018.
We work towards empowering local disadvantaged people in Quang Tri so that they can live up to support themselves. We focus on education, healthcare and environment.
Our Work in Action
Culinary Life Skills Program
A hands-on program that equips 50 children with hearing impairments and intellectual disabilities with essential life skills in gardening, shopping, and cooking.
Eyecare Outreach Program
This program provides quality eyecare services to disadvantaged children in the community through a partnership with Quang Tri Eye Hospital.
Houses for the Poor
Since 2018, over 58 sturdy houses have been constructed for ethnic minority families whose members are survivors of landmines or Agent Orange.
Music for Blind Children
Through music classes and clubs, the program provides meaningful social experiences for blind children and those with intellectual disabilities.
Handicraft for Deaf Children
Through handicraft training, deaf children gain practical vocational skills that can later be developed into a sustainable souvenir business.
Volunteers
CDF warmly welcomes volunteers from Excelia School of Business to support and work with children with disabilities in Quang Tri.
